ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Inspects the Banquet rooms for assigned functions insuring that all details of set-up conforms to the event order, including room temperature and lighting.
- Inspects table place settings for cleanliness, damage and appearance.
- Responsible for proper setting of buffet tables and other food service tables used for catered functions.
- Supervises the handling, storage and security of all banquet equipment.
- Ability to supervise the service staff to ensure guest satisfaction during the entire catered event.
- Handles all guest requests as necessary and promptly informs management of issues.
- Practices and encourages "Teamwork and "Clean as you Go" policies.
- Prepares Captain Report at conclusion of all responsible functions.
- Supervises clearing and post function cleaning and storage of function rooms, banquet aisle and storage areas.
- Mandatory attendance for monthly departmental meetings
